Who we are

varydev.com is the personal website of Michael Vary. The site and the tools described below are operated by Michael Vary, Miami, Florida. Questions about this policy go to hello@varydev.com.

What this website collects

The website itself does not use advertising trackers or set marketing cookies. The hosting provider (Vercel) records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used only to keep the site running and secure.

If you submit your email address through a form on this site, for example to request a document, the address is used to deliver what you asked for and, at most, to follow up about that request. It is not sold, rented or shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Internal tools and Google user data

Michael Vary operates private, self-hosted software tools that connect to his own Google Workspace and Google accounts through Google APIs, including the Gmail API. These tools are used by Michael Vary only. They are not offered to the public and no other person's Google account is connected to them.

Through these tools, Google user data (such as email messages, labels and account settings) is read and modified only to organize and respond to Michael Vary's own mail. The data stays on hardware controlled by Michael Vary. It is not transferred to third parties, not used for advertising, and not used to train machine-learning models.

Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs by these tools adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle the request. Google account access can be revoked at any time from the Google account's security settings, which immediately stops any further access by these tools.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use by writing to hello@varydev.com. We respond within 30 days.

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with an updated date.
